บทคัดย่อ

    การวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสมรรถนะการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคองในชุมชน และปัจจัยที่ความสัมพันธ์กับสมรรถนะการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคองในชุมชน ของพยาบาลวิชาชีพหน่วยบริการปฐมภูมิ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นพยาบาลวิชาชีพประจำการหน่วยบริการปฐมภูมิ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ที่มีหน้าที่ในการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคองมาอย่างน้อย 1 ปี จำนวน 83 คนซึ่งได้จากการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบง่าย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถามสมรรถนะในการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคองในชุมชน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา และสถิติสหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน
    ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) พยาบาลวิชาชีพ ร้อยละ 44.60 มีสมรรถนะการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคองในชุมชนในระดับปานกลาง และ 2) ปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับสมรรถนะการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคองในชุมชน ของพยาบาลวิชาชีพหน่วยบริการปฐมภูมิ ได้แก่ ประสบการณ์ในการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคอง (r = .22) และความรู้ในการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคองในชุมชน (r = .24) มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกอย่าง มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p< .05) ในระดับต่ำ ส่วนอายุ ประสบการณ์เป็นพยาบาลวิชาชีพ การได้รับการฝึกอบรมการดูแลแบบประคับประคอง และจำนวนผู้ป่วยที่ดูแลแบบประคับประคอง ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับสมรรถนะการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคองในชุมชน ดังนั้น พยาบาลวิชาชีพควรได้รับการพัฒนาสมรรถนะการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคองในชุมชน โดยการให้ความรู้และเพิ่มประสบการณ์การดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบประคับประคองเพิ่มมากขึ้น
